Why does my browser ask for permission to use an application?
The web tool can connect to the desktop app via a local address (localhost). The browser shows a prompt so you can approve or deny this connection.
If you want the web tool features, allow the request. If you deny it, you can still read the guide pages but the tool won’t communicate with the app.
I can’t see formats or downloads don’t start
- Make sure the desktop app is open.
- Refresh the web tool page.
- Try again with the same query (some sources are slow).
Downloads are slow
Speed depends on the source website and your connection. Try another quality option or retry later.
Tip: using wired or stable Wi‑Fi typically improves speed and reduces interruptions.
Where are my files saved?
The destination folder is controlled by the desktop app settings. If you changed it, restart the app and refresh the web tool.
